ReviewRound is a review-collection tool for small service businesses. This page covers what information we collect and how it's used, for both business owners who sign up and the customers they invite to leave feedback.

Information from business owners

When you create a ReviewRound account we collect your email, your business name, and any Google review link, logo, or widget settings you add. If you subscribe, Stripe processes payment details directly — we never see or store card numbers.

Information about customers

A customer who fills out a ReviewRound feedback form submits a rating, an optional written comment, and an optional photo — this is stored and shown to the business that requested it.

If a business uses ReviewRound's SMS feature, the business owner provides us with a customer's name and phone number, along with an attestation of how consent to be texted was obtained. We use that phone number solely to send the one review-request message the owner triggers, and to receive and log any reply (including opt-outs, which we act on immediately and keep a permanent record of so that number is never texted again). We do not sell phone numbers or messaging data, and we do not use them for any purpose beyond this feature.

How long we keep it

Testimonial and messaging records are kept for as long as a business's account is active, so its dashboard stays accurate. Opt-out/suppression records are kept indefinitely — that's what keeps a number permanently excluded from future messages, even if it's re-entered later.

Third parties

We use Supabase for data storage, Stripe for billing, and Twilio to send and receive SMS messages. Each processes the minimum data needed to perform its function and is bound by its own privacy terms.
